Dear Bonfield residents

As a result of the COVID-19 emergency the municipal offices including the Library will be closed to public access, as a precaution, until further notice. Most municipal services will still be available, and staff will be able to answer telephone calls, emails and faxes from Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 only.

The Council meeting scheduled for March 24, 2020 has been cancelled.

The Rabies Clinic which was scheduled for March 28, 2020 has been postponed until further notice.

 

Property Taxes: the following options are available to you. Receipts will be mailed once payment has been processed

– Drop off box located outside the township building.

– Online banking with most banks except TD (Toronto Dominion) and Royal Bank

– Caisse Populaire

– By mail

– E-transfer sent to webmaster@bonfieldtownship.org password being “taxes”

– Credit card over the phone between the hours of 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday

 

Building Department

All Building Permit inquiries and inspection requests will be done either by phone, email or fax. (see contact information below)

All document submissions will be done by either email or fax. Alternatively, complete Building Permit applications can be left in the drop off box at the front entrance to the municipal office.

Animal Control

The North Bay and District Humane Society provides Animal Control Services for the Township of Bonfield and have informed us that their staff will continue to respond to public calls for assistance as it pertains to stray animals and emergency after-hours services. They can be

contacted at 705-474-1251.
