Council is pleased to announce they have adopted the 2023 Municipal Budget. Please see the highlights of the presentation and the summary of changes to the budget in the documents below. The average increase this year is 8.1% from the overall 2022 taxes to the 2023 levy.
The budget highlights our operations for each department as well as our capital plan for the year. This year will see 4 kms of surface treatment on Development Road as well as repair and gravel on Pine Lake Road. We have purchased a new grader from a loan and have used the annual capital levy to purchase a much needed new Public Works truck with a sander.
Council is already thinking about the 2024 budget so please continue to share ideas and concepts with your municipal officials.
