Casual Equipment Operators Class II

Wage: $27.06 per hour

Qualifications, required knowledge and education, skills:

-Class DZ or higher Drivers Licence

-Good Communication & Interpersonal Skills

-Competency in operating Backhoes, Plows and Sanders

-Demonstrate Communication and Public Relation Skills

-Working as part of a group or independently

-Mechanical ability

-Familiarity with the Township of Bonfield will be considered key assets.

Shift, hours of work:

As required for Casual Operator Class II

Nights, Weekends, On Call

The following represents the duties of this position:

Plowing and Sanding winter roads, sidewalks and entrances. Ensuring the safety of our public. Maintenance of Equipment.

The successful candidate must provide a clean driver’s abstract, a current medical certificate and a Consent to Disclosure of Personal Information. Mechanical ability and familiarity with the Township of Bonfield will be considered key assets.

This position is subject to the terms of the Collective Agreement for CUPE Local 4616-02
