The public works department is also asking for your help in ensuring that all household waste and recycling be placed in the designated location at the landfill. By placing waste in the designated area we can help reduce the bear population at our landfill site. This helps to ensure the safety of residents and landfill attendants alike. The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit would like to advise the public that a blue-green algae bloom (cyanobacteria) has been found in Lake Nosbonsing. Please contact the Health Unit at 705-474-1400 ext 5400 for further details.
