Join us for the Bonfield Halloween Parade on Saturday, October 26th, at 6:00pm, as we aim for a record turnout of spirited spectators along the parade route!
We're inviting all residents, businesses, and organizations to show off your creativity. Whether you're crafting a creepy float for the Halloween Parade or transforming your home into a haunted masterpiece for the House Decorating Contest, now’s your chance to show off your spooky spirit.
 
Parade route: The parade will leave the Four Corners (the corner of Gagnon St and Development Rd) at 6:00 pm and travel to the Firehall using Gagnon St, Church St and Mark St.
Floats/Performances: If you are entering a float, or performance please meet at the Four Corners at 5:30 pm.

Haunted House Decorating Contest Rules

  1. Registration Required:
    To participate, register your house by emailing: officeclerk@bonfieldtownship.com 
  2. Photo Submission: Contestants must submit a photo of their decorated house along with their contact information (name, phone number, and email) to officeclerk@bonfieldtownship.com for judging. Houses must be in the Township of Bonfield.
  3. Judging: Photos will be added to our Facebook page album, and the photo with the most likes will be the winner.
  4. Deadline: All entries, including photo submissions and contact details, must be received by October 26th, 2024.
  5. Prizes:1st Place: $100, 2nd Place: $50
  6. Winners Announced: Winners will be announced on October 31st, 2024. Keep an eye on our Facebook page and the township website for the results! 

 

Halloween Float Contest Rules

*All float participants must arrive at the parade start location by 5:30 PM on October 26th, 2024 to ensure a smooth and spooky parade kickoff.*

  1. Registration Required:
    To participate, register your float by emailing: officeclerk@bonfieldtownship.com
  2. Participation: If you are entering a float, or performance please meet at the Four Corners at 5:30 pm.
  3. Deadline: All entries, should be received by October 24th, 2024.
  4. Judging: Judges will view the floats and performances. The judges want to see that your float embraces the fun, spooky, and playful energy of the holiday.
  5. Prizes:1st Place: $200, 2nd Place: $100, 3rd Place: $50
  6. Winners Announced: Winners will be announced on October 31st, 2024. Keep an eye on our Facebook page and the township website for the results!
